雖然我不是傑克遜的歌迷，對他的許多歌曲也不熟悉，但聽到這一噩耗也頗為傷感。對於流行音樂，這無疑意味著一個時代的終結。
“現代流行音樂之王”邁克爾•傑克遜（Michael Jackson），5歲時就顯示出非凡的音樂才華，他兼融了黑人“藍調”與白人“搖滾”之長，逐步形成了獨特的MJ樂風，開創了現代MTV這一音樂演繹與傳播的全新方式，與貓王、披頭士並列為流行樂史上最偉大的不朽象徵。
