Lewis Hamilton will debut a new look this weekend when he wears a Michael Jackson-inspired helmet in Sunday's United States Grand Prix.

The Mercedes driver revealed pictures of his custom-made headgear to his 1.78 million Twitter followers, just hours before the first practice session in Austin, Texas.

Hamilton tweeted: 'For the Austin race, i wanted to dedicate this helmet to my favourite artist MJ. So, here it is. #smoothcriminal #MJ'
