Diana Ross dedicates tour to Michael Jackson
Singing superstar Diana Ross has dedicated her More Than Yesterday tour to her late friend King of Pop Michael Jackson.
Ross, 66, who was a mother figure and mentor to the Thriller hitmaker during his days in the Jackson Five, decided to pay him a tribute, days before his first death anniversary on June 25.
"I'm dedicating my tour this year to my dear friend Michael Jackson," Ross told the audience in the packed Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles . She went on to perform a medley of Jackson 's hits, including the track You Are Not Alone.
Jackson's three children Prince, 13, Paris, 12 and eight-year-old Blanket were reportedly in the crowd.
