Michael Jackson的歌「they don't care about us」（1996年）裡面就有提到馬丁·路德·金，歌詞段落如下：

But if Martin Luther was living（如果馬丁·路德還活著的話）
He wouldn't let this be（他不會讓這件事情發生的）...
馬丁•路德•金恩（Martin Luther King, Jr.，1929年1月15日－1968年4月4日），US black civil rights leader著名的美國民權運動領袖，1964年度諾貝爾和平獎獲得者，有金恩牧師之稱。
