MJ未完成作品-I Have This Dream

這是邁克爾傑克遜計畫收入紀念千禧年專輯中的一首慈善歌曲。曾通過網路及創作比賽活動徵集歌詞。後來因故比賽取消，最終千禧年專輯未能實現。後來在２００５年美國颶風災害時為了賑災也試過要發表，但還是沒能如願。

幕後故事
1999年的TV Guide採訪當中，Michael 說："專輯內有一首歌叫做我有這個夢。這是與世界以及環境有關的世紀歌曲，我與Carole Bayer Sager、David Foster合寫"。
Speaking to TV Guide in November 1999, Michael said:
"There’s a song on the album called I Have This Dream. It’s a millennium song about the world and the environment, that I wrote with Carole Bayer Sager and David Foster".
2005年10月Michael 傑克森為賑濟卡特裡娜颶風災民再度編成慈善歌曲『From the Bottom of My Heart』（後又改成『I Have This Dream』），但最後因種種原因並未發行。

感想後記
這首歌須溯源Michael 1990年在夢幻莊園樹上創作的一首"Black Or White"，該曲源自小山米戴維斯(Sammy Davis Jr)，其後誕生"They Don't Care About Us"一曲，該歌詞當中提到的馬丁路德金恩(Martin Luther)於1963年促進民權法案運動發表了一篇演講《我有一個夢》(I have a dream)，此曲靈感極可能因此而來。


2002年Michael 接受英國雜誌「Gold Girl」專訪，曾提及誰是Michael 最喜歡的人，Michael 回答了這麼一段：「我熱愛那些為世界和人類的快樂和幸福畢盡精力的那些人--從華特•迪士尼到甘地到愛迪生再到馬丁•路德金恩。他們是光明的使者，是真正關心兒童、帶來家庭和睦溫欣和愛的人。這也是我一直盡力想在我的音樂和歌曲中談及的。
